A series of pictures showing some of the streets in Acton.

The intersection of Highway 25 (Main St) and Highway 7 (Mill St) - looking northwest. You can see the large mural painted on the first building on Mill Street. Mill Street is closed down to Eastern Avenue for the Leathertown Festival.

On the steps of the old YMCA building on Highway 7 (Mill St E) - looking north. They have converted the YMCA building (built in 1934) into apartments and offices. They did a great job. You can see our favourite store - Country reflections, with the blue awnings.

.
Acton's new streetlight banners remembers the brave soldiers who fought for our freedom.
.

.
Looking west on Highway 7 towards Willow Street. This is the start of the main part of the old commercial core of Acton.
.

.
Located beside Robert Little Public School on Highway 25 is Acton's Public Library. You cross a bridge over a small creek to get to it.
.

.
Frog Pond lies adjacent to a wetland and is also home to a beaver family. Here at the bottom left is the lodge with a supply of branches ready for those quick muchie times.
.
.
.There are definitely a lot of frogs around this area. I found a bunch of frogs hiding in a last pool along the pathway.
.
.
.The wetlands help to recharge the ground water and give a nice place for musquitos to hand out waiting for people to come by to take pictures.

.
A pool of water lies stagnat in the sun.

.
The Acton Arena and Community Centre along Highway 7.
A leash free dog zone where all the dogs hang out is located within Prospect Park.
